Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.
Over lockdown, I had been wondering about getting my hair cut short. It was only when a few people suggested it to me that I decided to use the opportunity to donate my hair. I got in contact with the Little Princess Trust, a UK charity who makes wigs for children. On 10 August I got my hair cut and I am sending them approx. 12 inches of my hair.
At the same time, I have created this page to raise funds for Athenry Cancer Care, a volunteer-led charity based in Athenry Co. Galway who provides support, counselling and holistic therapies to people with a cancer diagnosis.

The Athenry Cancer Care Centre provides a voluntary support service for people diagnosed with cancer and their immediate families.The Centre offers a holistic approach, recognising that a person who is on a cancer journey is not just a body to be treated, but a body, mind, soul and spirit, all in one, in need of nurture.The Centre provides caring support and pampering through tea & chat, body massage, reiki and counselling. Group support meetings are held on 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7
