Hi there!
Thank you for taking the time to check my iDonation page for the photography project in India.
In less than 3 weeks I will be travelling to Kolkata to documenting what I experienced in the city: its life, culture, people, food. This project is supported by The HOPE Foundation, so I will also be creating a series of photographs dedicated to bringing awareness to the living conditions of street & slum children and the work of the foundation to improve them. As I photographer, I am passionate about finding the joy and colour in every aspect of life - that's why this trip is an amazing opportunity to take photographs and tell the stories about people I meet in Kolkata.
I will also be documenting the work of 4 street artists going with me to Kolkata: Shane O'Malley, Finbar McHugh, Vanessa Power & Ciara McKenna. They will be creating street art and murals in the protection homes, schools and facilities of HOPE Foundations.
This is a charity project, which means we are contributing 2 weeks of our time, covering our expenses, such as flights, vaccines, visas etc. We are also raising much-needed funds for the charity. They will allow the foundation to provide food, shelter and care for street children in Kolkata and to run this project.
'Kolors of Kolkata' is a very special project that not only allows us to raise funds, but also to spread the word about the good work that the foundation is doing in India. I am very happy to be a part of it and to be able to contribute to such a good cause. I am also excited to share the photographs on Facebook and Instagram daily with you.
Thank you for considering the donation.
