On Saturday 20th of July 2019 Ebb & Flow Swimming coaches Caitriona, Ailsing, Caroline & Sarah will be putting what they preach in to practice and are taking part in the Frances Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim. 

The challenge is no easy one but the decison to take part sure is. All funds raised go directly to Cancer Care West . This wonderful charity is dedicated to supporting those whose lives have been affected by a cancer diagnosis. They provide assistance to cancer patients and their families during and after their treatment.

This event is a huge part of the swimming community in Galway and further a field and is now in its 14th year.

Life can be challenging at times and on Saturday the 20th all swimmers will be choosing to take on the challenge of swimming 13k  to raise funds and awarness for those who have not choosen their challenge of fighting cancer.
