Last year we lost our very close friend Gavin Jones. The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust was something I had not heard of until this time but the work they did for Gavin's family was simply amazing and really helped during this extremily difficult time. The Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust aims to alleviate the financial hardship of bereaved families repatriating the body (bodies) of loved one(s) who have died abroad in sudden or tragic circumstances back to Ireland. To do this amazing work they need constant fundraising and this is why I have decided to to fundraise for this great cause. 

I completed my first Marathon 4 years ago with Gavin and even though we trained in different countries the support, texts and phonecalls we shared with each other really made it feel like we were in the same boat and brought us closer together. Crossing the line togther with Gavin after all the hard training is one of my happiest memories I was lucky enough to have shared with Gavin. 

For this reason I will be running the KBC Dublin Marathon in his memory and raising funds for this great cause. 

All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause and any donations would be much appreciated.
