Firstly, I want to thank you so much for sponsoring me for this very worthy cause.
Dublin CCI are a non profit organization, run completely on a volunteer basis. They raise funds to support on-going programmes to improve the lives of children affected by the Chernobyl disaster. These include:
Rest & Recuperation for children from impoverished families and highly radiated areas of Belarus. Also children from Vesnova Mental Asylum.
Nursing and medical care programme for Vesnova Mental Asylum which is home to 170 children with both mental and physical disabilities.
Cardiac programme which is a life saving initiative for thousands of children born with numerous holes in their heart...a condition known as Chernobyl Heart.
Community Care Programme which provides nurses, therapists, medicines and vital machinery for terminally ill children living at home with their parents.
It is an on-going crisis for those people living in the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster and will remain so for many years to come.
Dublin CCI exist to try and relieve pressures and to give hope to the children and their families so they do not have to face the consequences of this tragedy alone.

About the Cause
Dublin Chernobyl Children International
We are an outreach group affiliated with Adi Roche's Chernobyl Children International which was set up in 1991.
We fundraise on annual basis for numerous projects including bringing children to Ireland for much needed R&R, Hospice & Community Care, Cardiac surgeries and Vesnova orphanage.
All projects help to improve the health and living conditions of those still affected by the disaster which took place in 1986.
