For the love of God, Kevins Hurling and Camogie Club’s latest fundraising idea is to be dangled off the top of the Hogan Stand. For this dubious pleasure I have to raise at least €250.
“What about a sponsered walk?’ I said. I’d even consider “Strictly”, although the pain and suffering will be less prolonged while plummeting down from the top of Croke Park.
Please give as little or as much as you can to support our excellent, not so little any more, inner city hurling club. Kevins have been promoting Hurling in the South Inner City for one hundred and sixteen years and any donation you make will help ensure the we can carry on providing sport to our inner city communities.
On the other hand you could offer to take my place in Croke Park, on Sun 14th October and I will happily sponsor you!
