Finding out that your expecting can be an exciting time for a women and their partner. When a baby is miscarried is it a devasting experience that can bring feelings of loneliness and despair. The Miscarriage Association of Ireland is a registered charity run by a committee of volunteers who provide vital support to women and their families who have experienced baby loss through miscarriage. One of our main sources of funding is through donations. All donations received are used to provide telephone, email, website, facebook, group support meetings and annual services of Remembrance and other remembrance events.
My husband and I have experienced baby loss through miscarriage twice since 2009- Rory - a little flower lent not given, to bud on earth , to flower in heaven 29th June 2009 and Baby Jules in July 2014. They will always be a part of our family and close to our hearts. They are my inspiration and strength to always put my best foot forward.
In January this year a dear friend lost her husband and two beautiful boys lost their dad to Oesophageal cancer. The Oesophageal Cancer Fund is a small charity that raises awareness of the signs and symptoms of the cancer and provides information and support.
All donations for these two charities would be greatly appreciated. Please give what you can. Thank you Deirdre

About the Cause
The Miscarriage Association of Ireland
The Miscarriage Association of Ireland is a charitable and completely voluntary body set up with the support of women and men who themselves have been through miscarriages.
We are the national charity for Oesophageal Cancer in Ireland; bringing the good fight to a bad cancer. We are passionately committed to the eradication of this disease, and, until that happens, to helping those affected live full, long lives. We provide a three-pronged, desperately needed service.
We increase awareness of related symptoms to promote early diagnosis
We raise funds to support breakthrough research into its causes and potential cures
