Mike and I are delighted to be taking part in the Francis Thornton Memorial Galway Bay Swim with all donations going towards Cancer Care West. Last year we took part for the first time and this year we decided we had to go again. If we manage to swim in a straight line from Auginish Co.Clare to Blackrock diving tower it’s 13km. Let’s hope the waves are small. All donations go towards Cancer Care West.

This gruelling swim started 13 years ago and has contributed massively to Cancer Care West. Please show your support by coming down to Blackrock on July 21st to cheer on the 130 swimmers and a little donation to this page will be greatly appreciated!

Last year Mike and his team swam in memory of Jane Whirskey and did an incredible job. This year we will swim in Jane's memory once again, as well as all loved ones affected by cancer.
