Although this will be a debut appearance for the Bangor Breast Strokers, this event has been running for 6 years now and has raised an astounding €153,000 for Ireland's National Children's Cancer Charity - www.aoibheannspinktie.ie. This year adds a twist as we are also going to break the World Skinny Dip Record.
This is an event to celebrate people who have got out the other side, acknowledge those who are still struggling with life with cancer, remembering those we lost to cancer and celebrating womanhood.
We're expecting an emotional yet uplifting day as we think about those in our own group, our friends and families and people everywhere who are affected by cancer directly and indirectly. There's one thing for sure, we will have the best craic and will be closer when we leave than when we arrive!
Well done girls, you are brave to bare all. Such a proud and memorable day for you all.
