For several months, we have had this date put in pencil into our diaries.. more recently it has changed to pen.. and this is why we need your help!!
We will be joining hundreds of other women (or so we hope) in this brave skinny dip to raise funds for Aoibheann's pink tie cancer charity to be part of the World's Largest all women skinny dip. All funds raised will be going towards this great charity in order to provide support for the family and those fighting cancer. These children all get treatment at St.John's ward in Crumlin Children's Hospital in Dublin.
Currently, in the UK, according to cancer research statistics, someone is diagnosed with cancer every two minutes. It is so common to know someone who has been affected by cancer. This illness takes over and transforms lives, without support from hospitals and several charities this fight would be even more difficult.
This is why we have decided to join in this amazing event in order to raise as much as we can for this charity. To not only remember those we have lost through cancer but also continue to fight for those who face this illness today.
We will be grateful for any amount given, no matter how small.. every penny will help with this charity! Let's hope Wicklow have no cliffs for spectators ? This will most definitely be a day to remember.. Thank you all
