This year I am taking part in 3 open water swimming events:
Swimming in Athy on 28th of May (750m),
River Moy Swim 8th of July (2.5km).
Glendalough upper lake 2nd of September (1.5km).
I live with a physical disability and fibromyalgia. Swimming is my huge part of my life. It has really helped me me with pain management and mental health.
I am raising funds for Wicklow Animal Welfare. This is a small organisation that never turns away any animal in need. This organisation is very important to me as one of my dogs was rescued by them and we love her to bits. Please donate whatever you can to this awesome place.

Dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs, cats and horses from all over the county and beyond. Wicklow Animal Welfare also work closely with the Travelling community. WAW has a Non-Destruct policy. WAW is set in a thriving farm setting in rural Wicklow where both paying kennelled dogs are treated the same as rescue in fantastic kennels and runs.Fiona herself runs the dogs as a "dog friendly" pack where they learn important social skills from both Fiona and the other dogs.
