Along with fellow breast cancer survivors I am taking part in Strip and Dip on June 9th, along with many wonderful supporters. Brainchild of Deirdre Featherstone, this has been held every year since 2013 for the very worthy cause Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. This charity does marvelous work with children who are fighting the horrendous disease that is cancer. Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated. This year we are attempting to enter the Guinness Book World Records as the Worlds Largest Skinny Dip. This is an emotional day, some of those taking part have come through the other side, I personally will be doing it in memory of very dear friends and family who were taken by cancer. It will also be a fun, exhilarating day, running into the Irish Sea, some with no boobs, some with one boob, some with fake boobs etc. but it will be so worth it all, if we can raise some much needed funds for Aoibheann’s Pink Tie. Having been through grueling cancer treatment myself, I find it heartbreaking to think that children have to fight this disease. Aoibheann’s Pink Tie assist and help these children and their families so wonderfully. So any donation at all, every cent really does help.
Well done Myra - good on you, looks like it was an amazing day. x x

Aoibheann's Pink Tie was set up in 2010 after our friend and Chairperson Jimmy Norman's daughter, Aoibheann, passed away. During their long battle with cancer, Jimmy and his wife Annma
