My name is Denise O’Shea. I am delighted to be taking part in the King of Greystones Triathlon to raise funds for the Gavin Glynn Foundation.
In 2016, I took part in ‘The Strictly Come Dancing’ for this wonderful foundation. It touched my heart, the work and dedication the Glynn family put into helping others since losing their precious son Gavin to cancer. It’s such a worthy and amazing cause.
I’m looking forward to the run and cycle but have a tiny fear of the swim aspect, but on the day I’ll be keeping all the amazing strong children in my mind we are helping.
Training Update 25th June:
Training, what can I say... I swim, I swallow 5 litres of salty sea water, even though I can’t bare to put my face under water. (My fear) 😱
I cycle, my back side aches for days...
and I run, in the the heat for kilometres.
Sounds unenjoyable?... I’m loving each & every single minute of it!

Only small things with great love.”
