I have terminal cancer and I use the Mayo Roscommon Palliative Care service for so many things. They help me maintain a sense of balance in a world gone mad, and they help me to manage my symptoms and ensure I get the most out of every single day that I have left. They support my family and with their help, I've been able to help my children and husband through the toughest time of my life and of their lives.
Palliative care do so much to help me to live and see glimpses of light inbetween the stormy clouds.
I owe them so much and yet, 50% of the services are paid for by charity.
Last night I found myself registering for the VHF Woman's mini marathon. I've never done a marathon before and I have spent the last two years teaching my children not to be afraid to try new things or to be phased by lifes challenges. What was I thinking? Haha, never mind, it's done now.
Can you support me, even with just a little bit. Donations can be annonymous and no one judges. Every single cent and penny counts. Thank you
