As some of you already know, Tom recently underwent 9 weeks of successful chemotherapy treatment in the Oncology Unit of Beaumont Hospital. The Ross Nugent Foundation (in memory of the late Ross Nugent from Malahide) has supplied over 250 pieces of equipment to Beaumont cancer units to date, including bionic therapy chairs  with TV monitors. and a fully equipped chill-out room for cancer patients called  "The Glade." Ross's wish was to make life more comfortable for the patients, their families and the amazing nursing staff. and this has certainly being achieved. The foundation wish to continue supplying equipment to the hospital so myself and Chloe are doing the Women's mini marathon to help raise funds and to give something back for the wonderful care Tom received during his treatment. We have all been affected by cancer either directly or indirectly and we would appreciate your donations very much to help us reach our target.
