Leonard is taking part in Challenge 21 for The Down Syndrome Centre Cork . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. The centre provides vital services and supports to children in Cork with Down Syndrome and their families. Our little boy Fionn benefits from the services that are provided.
Leonard will run 21km from Haulbowline to The Marina. 21km is significant as it is a reference to Trisomy 21 ie Down Syndrome. People with Trisomy 21 have a 3rd copy of the 21st chromosome.
