This is me with my Mum in Germany Nov 2016, 1 week after she was diagnosed with Stage 4 terminal Cancer. This would be the last trip I would take with her. In 12 years this would be her 3rd time to face this illness. In June 2017 Mum lost her battle, but not before my now Fiancé had the chance to ask her and my Father for my hand in marriage, which allowed me the oppertunity to plan some of my wedding with my Mum, something I will forever be greatful for.

So just before her 1 year Anniversary and 1 month before I get married, I wanted to do something to remember her. I stumbled across this event. on Facebook like it was meant to be. To say I'm a little nervous would be an understatement, however having read some of the stories of the previous participants recounting their first time, I decided this was something I had to do. 

Having witnessed my Mum suffer several times with this illness, it is truly something NO person should have to experience. These 2causes are truly worthy and do so much to help, so I urge you all to give generously.
