Hi Folks,
Darragh will be running the Dublin city marathon on Sunday October 29th in aid of the Galway Hospice.
Why this charity? Over the past 16 months, my family got to experience first hand the amazing support that this hospice provides. My cousin Steven, his wife Niamh & their sons Shay & Eoin received nothing but first class support during Steven's illness and since his passing. They made sure all his wishes came true during his brave battle with cancer.
If you have a few Euros to spare we would really appreciate the support for this very worthy charity. If anyone is interested in joining the cheerleading party for all the runners please let me know.
Thank you all for your words of support and donations of course! Such a wonderful cause and delighted that we could do our bit. Finally to my wonderful wife who talked me down from "you're not out to win it..just enjoy it!"
Run Darragh Run 👍😁 we'll be cheering u on from our comfy armchairs. Steven would be proud Xx 💗

About the Cause
Galway Hospice Foundation
Galway Hospice Foundation is a voluntary organisation. It was established in 1986 when a group of local doctors and nurses came together with a view to developing hospice services for the people of Galway city and county, as no such services existed there at the time.
