Another year, antoher marathon. This one's going to be a toughie though - I haven't been able to run most of the summer due to iron deficiency, so the challenge will be completing the race, not going for a PB! I'm fundraising for Kidzcraft, a local organisation in Kill, Ireland, that runs social groups for children with autism. The groups give the children a place to go where they can have fun, hang out with peers and be accepted for who they are. It's especially important outside of term time, when some kids really miss the interaction and routine of school. The groups are also a respite for families of children with autism - they can leave their child there, knowing they are safe and happy, and have a couple of hours to do other things. I've seen the great work Kidzcraft do close up, through my nephew who's been to some of their sessions. He absolutely loves it. If you'd like to support this great organisation in carrying on its fine work, please donate. Thanks! Laura
