I am taking part in the Women's Mini Marathon for the St. Francis Hospice in Raheny. Just over a year and a half ago my Grandfather passed away. St. Francis Hospice looked after him from his home and went above and beyond to take care of him and make his last few weeks as comfortable as possible, something we are so thankful and grateful. I want to raise as much money for them as I can because not only did they look after him a great amount but they've looked after friends of mine and their loved ones.
The staff and volunteers of St. Francis Hospice provide specialist palliative care to people of North Dublin City and County. Our services are delivered from our hospices in Raheny and Blanchardstown. Based on a Christian philosophy, each person is treated with dignity, respect and compassion irrespective of their cultural or religious background. Our services are at no charge to patients.
