Thank you so much to each and everyone of you that supported my fundraising challenge. As you can see I surpassed my target by a mile (no pun intended). I honestly thought of you all when I was running each of the 5 races. Bru Columbanus is such a great charity.

This is my fourth year in a row to fundraise for Brú Columbanus, Cork in memory of Seán Dunne. Seán had an accident in his home in Kerry and was transferred to ICU in Cork University hospital. Whilst there his family were accommodated in Brú Columbanus. The house is only a short walk from the hospital so Pat and Gerry knew they could catch some sleep, freshen up or just have a cuppa but be close by. The charity was so good to me too as they allowed me to park my car there when I visited Seán saving me a lot of money in car parking fees. 

I am raising the bar this year and running 5 races in 5 days to try get some sponsorship. I will run the following;

June 1st - Balbriggan 5K - Dublin

June 2nd - Dan Byrne Memorial 5k - Doneraile, Cork

June 3rd - Ballincollig Parkrun - Cork

June 4th - relay leg in Cork City Marathon

June 5th - Women's mini-marathon - Dublin
