Dogs Aid looks after 70 dogs and about 40 cats, sure, the premises are not Hilton:) BUT!!! Doggies and kitties have a good life with clean bed every day, water, food, walkies and human interaction, sure what else could you possible want? PROPER HOME AND YOUR OWN FAMILY!!! Not all doggies and kitties are so lucky or need to wait little while longer, unfortunately.
Dogs Aid is entirely staffed by volunteers and entirely funded by public donations, and all of the money goes to help the animals.
Please, support me in this great cause and I will hopefully survive the 10k run (I survive all teh rpevious years so far)!
Should you wish to look at different way how to help, see here:
- sponsor a forever dog
- become bucket collector (usually at Grafton street)
Dogs Aid was set up in 1987 to help unwanted and abandoned dogs in Dublin. We have a no destruction policy so as a result we have a number of Forever Dogs who are "too old or too bold" to be rehomed. We also have look after cats, and wildlife including birds, foxes, hedgehogs among others. We are entirely staffed by volunteers and funded by public donations.
