All of the money I manage to raise will go entirely to Adi Roche's Chernobyl Children International, which is a charity very important to myself and my family. All funds raised go towards both caring for and providing much needed supplies for children in orphanages and asylums in isolated areas of Belarus, which were affected by the Chernobyl disaster of 1976. It also assists in bringing affected children and young adults to Ireland each year, for restbite care and rehabilitation, to reduce effects of the toxic radiation to which they are exposed every day, as a result of the disaster.
The effects of the failure at the Chernobyl power plant are ongoing, and many people do not realise the true extent of the difficulties faced by those forced to live in contaminated areas, such as those helped by the Chernobyl Children Charity in Belarus. Having had the privelage to meet and spend time with many of these children and young adults in Ireland over the past number of years I can truly say that the work this charity does is life changing, and in many cases even life saving. The happiness and smiles on the childrens faces makes it all so worthwile, and they are so so grateful for your support, as are all the volunteers at Chernobyl Children International.

About the Cause
Dublin Chernobyl Children International
We are an outreach group affiliated with Adi Roche's Chernobyl Children International which was set up in 1991.
We fundraise on annual basis for numerous projects including bringing children to Ireland for much needed R&R, Hospice & Community Care, Cardiac surgeries and Vesnova orphanage.
All projects help to improve the health and living conditions of those still affected by the disaster which took place in 1986.
