Transactions that return a result of 101 have been declined by the bank. While the most common cause of a declined transaction would be where insufficient funds exist to cover the cost of the transaction, other reasons may apply. The issuing bank cannot divulge the reasons for a declined transaction to anyone other than the cardholder themselves. No funds will be received for declined transactions.
