Castlegar NS is a DEIS school situated at the heart of the Castlegar Community. We pride ourselves on our welcoming, inclusive atmosphere managed and maintained by a group of dedicated and caring staff, who are passionate about the children and families we serve.

Our vision is to create a wellbeing area on the yard, for children who may need some time out from the hustle and bustle of the busy yard time. A sensory area where children take time out for themselves, all whilst still under the supervision of the staff on duty.

Our school caters for a wide range of learning styles. A sensory garden/outdoor classroom is dream of ours, a place where our children can learn in the midst of nature. 

As you can imagine, these dreams cannot come to fruition without funding. Please donate what you can to help us achieve our goal of enhancing our children's education, and making it a more pleasant and nurturing experience.
