Cillian is a very happy smiley 10 year old.
As most of you know he was born prematurely and as a result suffered brain damage which led to cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He is non verbal/ severely cognitively effected and is blind. Despite his many ongoing challenges Cillian is a happy boy and brings smiles to the faces of everyone he encounters along the way! Cillian attends Sandymount  School and really enjoys his time there. His favourite subject is music!! 
Both myself, some family members and friends are all set to pound the pavements again for the VHI Women’s Mini Marathon on Sunday 5th June. This has become an almost annual event now and something we as group really look forward to. Our goal is to raise funds to help support Cillians ongoing needs.These needs are ever changing especially with him growing like a weed! One area is Physical therapy, this is extremely important for Cillian to give him the best chance of reaching his full potential. This is something he requires on an ongoing basis. Previous incredible support allowed him to have regular therapy at home throughout the year and fingers crossed we can continue the same.

This year we also find ourselves having to look imminently towards house adaptions etc as Cillian is facing major spinal & hip surgeries and will require a lot of support and intensive rehab.
