Churchtown South Community Hall

Goal : €70000
From 162 fantastic supporters

Initially built as a school, the use of the hall was transferred to Muintir na Tíre (now Churchtown South Community Council) in 1966. It has served as a place of memory making throughout the years from plays and céilís to family fun days and treasure hunts!  The hall has been an invaluable facility that has served 3 to 4 generations already but is now in serious need of repair.  We hope that with your help we can get the hall up to a standard that it can be made available for use by the wider community now and for generations to come.  Due to COVID 19, all of our fundraising plans have had to be cancelled and In  less than 3 months we need to match the funds of a grant available to us in order to get the hall to where it needs to be, most importantly, replacing the roof, flooring, windows and doors, plumbing, etc.   Please, please, donate a slate for €20 or donate whatever you can.  No matter how much we manage to raise, all proceeds will go into the essential upgrading of the hall.  Visit our FB page and share with us your memories of the hall!
