The Parents Association of Holy Family National School Shanagarry wants your help!

We know not all of our extended community, family and friends are able to volunteer or be there to donate at fundraising events.  So if you live far away, or can't make it to help out, this page is for you. 

For those who don't already know we are a small school in East Cork, Ireland; Junior Infants through to Sixth Class. There are hens in the school playground, a vegetable patch, a strong connection to the local community including the next door GAA club and charity walks are usually taken at the beautiful Ardnahinch beach on Ballycotton Bay. 

The Parents Association has a list of projects we want to implement at the school to enhance the children's schooling experience through learning and play; particularly the playground and external areas. Some of the great things your donations have helped to provide to the shool have been the purchase of new picnic tables, painting the exterior of the school, a fixed poly tunnel to extend the school's growing season and resurfacing the open basketball court with an all weather surface. 

We also run events throughout the year including the Halloween Disco, Cake and Coffee donations at the Garden Cafe Truck at Ballymaloe Cookery School in the Spring and a Christmas raffle where local businesses kindly donate prizes to be drawn. These help pay for items such as bus rental for school excursions at the end of each school year but to do more for the school we need more money in the pot!
