Hi Cinema Breakfast Club members!

You know the IFI in Temple Bar? Have you joined us in a Late Late Breakfast Meetup there? In the past nine and a half years, some of our favourite Meetups have taken place in the IFI… And did you know the IFI is a registered charity?

A number of years ago they starting raising funds for a number of capital improvements to their space in Templebar. In 2019 they renovated Cinema 1 and 2, with new bigger seats, more leg room, new carpets, and acoustics panelling. They were planning as well to fix the roofs throughout.

As part of the renovation, they announced a great way to become part of the IFI experience and support them in the great work they do - it was called NAME YOUR SEAT. The Cinema Breakfast Club had to be part of that! NAME YOUR SEAT allows supporters to, for €300, see their name, for us the "Cinema Breakfast Club", on a plaque on a seat in Cinema 1 for a number of years. Our members raised over €350 in 2019 and our seat for the past four years is G6! 

With the term coming to an end, we want to extend for another three years and so we're running this second fundraiser!

We, as the Cinema Breakfast Club love being part of the IFI success story. The IFI will continue its essential role in cinema in Ireland and be one of the great, great cinema resources in Dublin for many years to come. We are running this idonate.ie campaign to invite you to be part of it too!

If you wish to donate, give as much or as little as you wish. Leave your name only if you wish to, and Cinema Breakfast Club members - don't feel obligated to donate anything! More important than anything to us, as organisers of this great Meetup group, is its continued ethos of openness, friendliness and its welcoming spirit.

100% of the donation you give here will go straight to the money given to the IFI. We, the organisers, will cover any transaction fees for administering this crowdfunding project. 

We’ll aim naturally for the target of €300 - if we collect together less or much, much more, we’ll donate every cent to the IFI’s fund.
