where your money goes

We would like to take the opportunity to update you with the progress we have made since opening the FIRST Sarv Sampradaya Hindu Mandir in Ireland on 22 August 2020. Since then, the Centre has been opening every day for one hour, strictly following the government Covid guidelines. We have celebrated all major religious events and festivals. However, some development works are outstanding due to lack of funds, like a kitchen, a library, strengthening of the floor of the first floor, levelling of the floor in the Main Hall and potentially changing the roof ( it is an asbestos roof!), etc. Our priority is the kitchen which will cost us Euro 70,000/-. It will enable VHCCI to have a weekly feast (Vegetarian Parshad) allow members to have private events like birthdays and anniversaries, weddings, etc. With the increased usage of the Centre, VHCCI will generate more donations and reduce the burden on the community. We humbly request a donation of €151 (or more or whatever you can afford) per family, please.
