INHA MISSION STATEMENT
INHA's vision is to support and empower families affected by prematurity by advocating increased awareness, improved pre-conceptual, ante-natal and post natal education, equitable and standardized neonatal care and improved long-term care for both the premature baby and the family.
Our objective, through consultation with global networks of prematurity groups, healthcare professionals, educators, researchers, political decision makers and industry stakeholders is to foster the exchange of information, provide education to healthcare professionals and families and with one collective voice, to provide the platform for a coordinated and integrated program of collaborative support in the field of neonatal care in Ireland.

The charity was officially incorporated in 2013 but we have been working in the Neonatal space since 2006. We are a 100% voluntary charity.
where your money goes
The charity has numerous ongoing projects including a hospital grade breast pump rental scheme which enables mothers to rent a breast pump in order to express breast milk at an affordable price, we purchase equipment for Neonatal Units, we develop education material for families and healthcare professionals and we provide ongoing support to families affected by preterm birth.
history
The charity was founded by parents of preterm infants with a view to improving care standards, support, education and research in the Neonatal field in Ireland.
