Ballinderreen Hurling Club, founded in 1884, is one of the oldest clubs in the association. It is a proud hurling parish which has produced many fine hurlers over the years and some of which have gone on to play for Galway. With the generosity of our community and beyond we have been able to complete “State of the Art” community sports facilities which are the envy of all. We intend to continue our work providing new improved facilities for our parish. Our next project being proposed is a new Gymnasium & Changing Room which will aim to promote increased participation in sport and exercise within our community. There are also plans for an extension to the existing Dressing Rooms which when completed will provide a Disabled Toilet and parking, Kitchen, Referees Room, Shop and a Meeting Room.
