Cope Foundation

Cope Foundation provides a comprehensive range of services to people with intellectual disability and/or autism through a network of community based supports at 69 locations in Cork city and county. These supports include early intervention, education, training, leisure, sports, arts, supported employment as well a specialised health and world-class multidisciplinary and residential supports.

Guided and responsive to the people we support and their families, Cope Foundation works to create the life enhancing opportunities that people need now and into the future.

where your money goes

Any money raised enables Cope Foundation to make improvements and develop new services and supports for the 2,350 people that we support across Cork city and county. 

history

Founded in 1957, The Cork Poliomyelitis Association was created to help deal with the aftermath of Cork's Polio epidemic during the 1950's.

Since then the organisation's services have changed and widened and as such was renamed Cope Foundation in late 1988.
