The mission of KAP (Kiltimagh Amenity Park) is to provide an all-purpose amenity park for the community of Kiltimagh. This amenity park should consist of a play area for children and incorporate equipment suitable for use by children with special needs and be fully wheelchair accessible. It should also include a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), exercise equipment, walking and cycling area in the outer perimeter, with colourful sensory garden and seating area.

When members of our community enter the amenity park, it should provide a safe bright environment, where children and adults can explore and learn together. Time spent playing contributes to healthy emotional development for children and also helps build character and trust between parent and child. The essential role which play has in a child’s development cannot be underestimated and a child’s basic right to play free of adult supervision and intervention and it is our mission to ensure that our children’s development is given every opportunity.
